Last year I got my hands on some handmade lotion. At some point, before my adventures in lotion making class, I took the time to write down the ingredients of this stuff. (Which was difficult, as the ingredients were listed in a near-microscopic print.)
Anyway, I went looking for my notes the other day, in preparation for my first adventure in lotion making (I don't count the stuff in the class.) And I discovered that one of the ingredients is canola oil.
Don't get me wrong - it's nice lotion. (And yes, she does use a preservative!
) But I really don't want to use canola when I make my version of it. (I'm using babassu instead of coconut as well, but that's another matter!) I don't use canola in my soapmaking, either.
Does anyone have any suggestions for a substitute? I have access to most of the usual suspects, and some slightly more exotic ones as well.
Thanks for the help.
