I made whipped body butter with equal quantities of shea butter, cocoa butter, sweet almond oil and coconut oil for my mother..
It came out very nice and fluffy and i sooo loved the texture..unfortunately it melted and became stiff in transit
I had not anticipated that it will melt due to the heat...
can anybody please advise on how to ship body butter in summers. will adding beeswax help?

I don't ship body butters in the summer time at all for this very reason.

I do not ship my whipped products in the Summer either. I will ship the solid butters and lip balms though. I insulate them well then enclose them in a plastic baggie, along with instructions. I have shipped to Florida and Arizona in Summer and not had an issue with these products, but I think a lot depends on your recipe, packaging and how long it sits (and where it sits) when it is delivered. For commercial accounts I use cold packs, but that is too costly for small orders.
