Good Morning,

I have a crock pot that just say high and low. I was going to try my first batch of liquid soap today but first I wanted to see what temp the high would get to. I put in water and it got to almost 200 deg. On my video from BB, it says keep at 160 deg. What do you people who make liquid soap use? I am really down because I was already to go. Any help you could give me would be appreciated.

I would use the low setting so the soap doesn't scorch or dry out. It just will take a longer time to get cooked. Do you have phenophtalein drops?

I use an old crockpot that only has high and low too. I keep it on low and it's usually around 165.
