can you use craft store beeswax(block) in bath and body recipes (mainly lipbalm I'm worried about)? it didn't say weather or not it was body safe or not and on the ingredients label all it said was "beeswax"i really want to try my hand at lipbalm and i don't want to wait a week and a half(and wait alot of money on other stuff that I "need" :wink:

) to get it from BB

Is it in the candle section? If so, honestly I'd be leery to use it for an ingestible product like lip balm. You could call local bee keepers instead to see if they can supply you with any beeswax.

ya it was in the candle section can I still use them in lotion bars and that type of thing...

IMO, I would not use beeswax that was bought in the candle section of the craft store.

soapbuddy thats what i was thinking but i dont want to wait that long to try all this stuff out :lol:

and i was just hoping maybe that for some reason I could so I will just have to order it but I think my Whole Foods has some of the good stuff
