just made 16 ounces of lotion and added 8ml of phenonip. was this too much? should i throw it away and start over?

The most phenonip is supposed to be used at is at 1%. So you used it at double the amount you should have, so yeah I'd toss it & start over.

Recommended use levels: 0.5%-1.0% so I would start over. A jeweler's scale is helpful for measuring small amounts.

Make another 16 oz without Phenonip and mix them. The ratio will be correct then.

Yeah don't throw out perfectly good lotion just add to it,add another 16 oz's of distilled water and turn it into a sprayable body lotion.

Don't heat up the original though. That could negate the preservative.
