Laminating sheets!
I think u get 50 for 15$ at staples. It is like a 8x11 sheet of clear tape but a tad thicker. I had tried many different sprays but eventually they wore off, esp in lip balm that was in a pocket or purse. This has allowed us to get a glossy protected label for pennies more per label.

I don't think so, they r pretty glossy so I doubt it would dry. We print on the vinyl labels then cover with the laminating sheet. It is an extra step and then u have to cut them out but the end result is very professional looking.

They have "self laminating" sheets. It's basically peel and stick. I suppose for some it might be time consuming but if you want a label that is weather proof and looks good this is an option. I have some punches I could use to cut the labels out. I wouldn't discount this as an option at all.

Someone here mentioned self stick poly labels--where do you get these? A friend in nevada sent me some soaps she purchased at a shop that had these self stick labels stuck right on each bar of soap..they looked great. And seems that it would be a quicker way to label your soaps. Anyone know? I checked at Office Depot but they looked at me like you want what??? My labeling job is sooo bad!
