Yep. 5K. Ever. It's an affordable option for people starting out or those who are giving soap to testers, who could give it to others, etc. The Handcrafted Soapmakers Guild has insurance at about twice that price per year without the 5K limitation. You have to join. You do get 10% off of purchases from supplier members with a membership, access to their forums and some other perks.
http://www.soapguild.org/Another forum member, Spotted Cat, said that she got insurance cheaper from a local insurance company in her small town than Handcrafted Soapmakers Guild offered, so you could check with some local companies and see if they'll insure you.
