Thanks for the info hvrba. What does the body & bath glide do for your lotion and if you don't mind my asking how much do you use?

I use quit a bit of shea in my lotion recipe and the body and bath glide just cuts down on the greasy feel of it. It leaves you really soft and silky feeling. Also, I made a 16 oz batch in order to fill 4 3.5 oz bottles ( I make more to allow for waste). I added the Body and Bath Glide at 1% of my recipe and it makes it so light (don't know if that is the correct term to describe it or not) that I got 5 3.5 oz bottles filled.

My son's girlfriend is begging me to make her more bath bombs, so I'm gonna place an order and make some lotion and soap for her for Christmas.

In this instance, I don't necessarily agree using the weighing method over the measurement method. Since some oils are heavier than others, you might inadvertently use more of one oil over the other if measuring with a scale. Causing inconsistency in your recipe. IMHO. The same with the amount of FO, EO, you would choose. Any thoughts here????

So that I could get consistant results, I took my measuring tools (cups, tablespoon, etc) and put it on my scale. Then as I poured into what I already know, 1 Tablespoon of Jojoba for example, I weighed it. Then I wrote it down. Now, I know how much each weighs. Simplest way I could find out. I like simple. LOL!

Thanks Hvrba, I bought the body and glide and the Macadamia Oil and I have some very hard non cracking bath bombs.
