Thanks! I'll probably be trying it again tomorrow! Let you know how it comes out :)

So I did some more. This time with only about two spritzes of witch hazel. It felt almost too dry, but they're staying together! There's still a flat spot on the bottom about an inch in diameter. I'm using a snowballer for the mold, so as soon as I form it I set it out on the counter. Should I use those ornament thingys so they can be left in the mold for a while to harden? Is this normal or am I just being to picky?

Wow! I just said "I" so many times, didn't "I"?

If you don't mind making smaller balls, you could use a meatballer. They come in 2 different sizes, but they won't be as big as your snowballer.

I made bath fizzies yesterday and had several problems - need some help!!!
Recipe:
Sift together 1/2 cup cornstarch, 1/2 cup citric acid, 1 cup baking soda then add 1/4 cup Epsom Salts, 1/4 cup Rock Salt.
Mix together 1 tsp distilled water, 1/4 tsp borax then add 1tblsp jojoba oil and 1 tsp Lavender EO and liquid colour.
Squirt into centre of dry ingredients and then mix thoroughly.
I had to spritz with more of the water to get the consistency and they were still pretty crumbly! I found that when I did get them the right consistency to mould they are OK but felt I had to add way too much water!!! I also found that the last couple I made don't fizz at all :(
Any help with this recipe would be wonderful!!! I thought maybe I should up the oil but as it was my first go didn't want to fiddle around with it too much!

I have found sometimes when they don't stick together properly, the following seems to help...

* Double checking they are really well packed.
* If using a mould with 2 halves, make sure they are fixed firmly together- without coming apart, as sometimes they can inch apart and then it doesn't stick together so well. I whacked some sticky tape around mine while they were setting.
* I have also stuck mine in the freezer for about an hour, and come back to find them beautifully set and rock solid.

I think there's some physics going on there, with the particles bashing into each other and fusing better as they are frozen. I don't know if freezing is a proper technique, but it has seemed to help. The only downside I'm working on, is that recently I had a chocolate brown coloured bath bomb discolour to green. Not sure if that was the freezing or something else (anyone know??). Planning to play around with other ingredients, and maybe try some different colourant.
