Teach Soap

So I made bath truffles a few weeks ago and they turned out great! I had 4 fragrances... Lavender EO topped with Lavender Buds, Strawberry Champagne blend topped with red jojoba beads, Lemon Cake dusted with Lemon Peel Powder, and Turkish Mocha dusted with Cocoa Powder. I brought them to my craft show with me this past weekend and they sold GREAT except for the turkish mocha. I went to my show with 18 of each fo. I left with 3 lavender, 3 lemon cake, 3 strawberry champagne, and 13! turkish mocha so I'm thinking of switching out the turkish mocha for something else. I just don't know what... I've noticed in my area not a lot of people are big on coffee scents. It's weird cause I think coffee smells amazing and I know other people that love it but they seem to be very far and few. Any suggestions for a good bath truffle fragrance? Thanks!

I don't sell at all so I can't say what would work for markets, but I think that just having time for soaking in a bath is luxurious. I like my bath goodies to smell really sensuous. Something like rose or a hippie floral scent would be nice (sandalwood or patchouli blend maybe). Makes you want to relax and hang out there for a while. I make a rose blend that I love but am afraid to soap with because the florals seize up in CP but in something like this it would work well.

If you don't mind discoloration, how about Vanilla?

I don't care about the discoloration at all. I just don't know ehich one to choose! Therr are so many. I am placing an order with BB next week and trying to figure out which one to get.

I just made a batch with Fresh Bamboo fo from BB. Smell great! Very fresh smelling. I haven't had a chance to actually soak in a tub with them yet myself but my mom said they are great.

I was thinking brown sugar & fig too! Or even green tea and ginger. Sage Lemongrass is ALWAYS nice.

Thanks everyone! I'm almost leaning towards a foodie fragrance. Just cause when I think truffle I think candy, but I like fresh scents too. I am so bad at picking fragrances. I can never decide. It is definitely a fault of mine. I think the Fresh Bamboo sounds nice but there are two things with that one. 1) I am very weird when it comes to green smelling fo's. I either love them or hate them and what would I top it with?! Real pieces of bamboo! I also just got in a free 1/2 ounce sample of Exotic Fruit Smoothie from BB with my last order and it smells awesome! But not sure if it's a good truffle smell. I want something that smells relaxing and fresh (kinda like lavender) but also has a yum! factor. I know, I know. I'm difficult.
