Is there anything that can stand in for cream of tartar in a bubble bar ,such as Tapioca starch maybe?

Really SB,so how does that effect the BB, and also do you know why the Tartaric acid I got from The Chemistry Store is so different from the cream of tartar I bought at the supermarket? Thanks SB

I get lots of bubblage in mine and since I use fractionated oils, it doesn't leave a greasy ring in the tub. As far as the tartaric acid from the Chemistry store, it could be it's more pure (or higher actives) then the stuff you buy at the grocery store.
