So I love my bar soap but every once in a while I miss liquid soap especially for hands and stuff and I have a love for whipped cream soaps with salt in them and wanted to giev it a whurl but don't want to buy KOH, can you make liquid soap or "whipped cream" soaps without KOH if so anyone have a baseline to start, or recipe, or liquid/whipped soap calc that will work without the koh. Thanks a ton..

I make a really simple whipped soap recipe. I just use some Foaming Bath Butter and add some sweet almond oil, fragrance and color and voila! I love it, it's great on your skin, and my friends are constantly harassing me to make it for them lol. Add some sugar or salt in there and you've got a great foaming sugar/salt scrub! Love that too :)

Follow the same recipe for the soap, just omit the sugar :) Hope I helped.

So I sprung for some KOH on my last BB order but wanted to know if this recipe was okay, since I've never made whipped cream soap and there is aot of junk online so will this be a good recipe if not can you divulge one I have KOH, NAOH, Sunflower, safflower, sweet almond, olive, shea, cocoa, mango butter, jojoba, coconut, palm kernal, palm, castor, stearic, phenonip. The recipe on the net was
4.6 oz. sweet almond oil
6 oz. coconut oil
4 oz. palm oil
2 oz. stearic acid
2.4 oz. KOH & .7 oz. NAOH

Water (distilled) = 20 oz. (by weight
can i sub some goats milk for water? If so what ratio?
Thanks as always.

I'm not at home, so I can't run it through my soapmaker software, but I would convert those ozs. into grams, since that's a pretty small recipe. You'll get a better accuracy that way.

Sorry I have never made soft whipped soap, I make cp whipped that gets hard and floats. I have another question though would you have to add preservative to this because of the water, or would it be like liquid soap where the ph protects it? Sorry to ask another question and give no answers
