Hello everyone,

Just wondering for those of you who make sugar scrubs, what do you like to put in yours? I have made the foaming bath whip scrub, but would like to try the oil/sugar approach.

I have sunflower oil, sweet almond oil, johoba oil, apricot kernel oil on hand. What can I whip up with this? Thanks kindly!

Liquid oils will need something like mango or shea butter if you want to whip them. You can use just oils and sugar, but they will separate over time. The sugar will settle to the bottom and the oil will rise to the top. I find this type of a scrub very greasy. There are recipes for sugar scrubs on this forum. Have you tried searching?

Lol I didn't actually mean "whip".

Thanks for the suggestion. I'm trying to search the board now... Kinda confusing lol.

If the oil/sugar scrubs are too oily, should I just stick with the whipped sugar scrub??

Ingredients in your sugar scrub is a matter of personal preference. I prefer emulsified scrubs, so foaming bath butter or bath whip would work better for me.
