wipe off the mold? Wow... sounds like someone telling people that you can filter stagnant water with cheesecloth, how horribly reckless....

i've seen that done at one restaurant to a pie. and to "hide" what ever was left, they put mounds of whip cream on the slice. YAK! i never get anything that has too much whip cream on it..
