Lol...this is what I thought of when I used my lip balm a week after it was made and I actually LIKED it! I still think I was heavy on butters & beeswax, which makes it kinda hard, but it melts well on the lip once your body heat warms it up. So, I'm going to go a bit easier on the beeswax, heavier on the oils next time (I use solid-at-room-temp oils cause I like em for holding things together when it's not pressed up against your lips). Any suggestions?
Annnnnd about the beeswax...so situationally, I am not at liberty to do any soap/lip balm/lotion/etc. in the kitchen which of course includes the stove. I have to melt the beeswax in the microwave but when I did this last time, it didn't fully melt, and now I have these horrid little beeswax pellets that stick in my lip balm..ick. Any effective way of melting beeswax FULLY in the microwave without blowing anything up? Thanks!
~Sooo excited!~
