. I have some recipes in my sketchbook, but my research in this field has been heavy on EOs and carrier oils - I've just started learning about butters & their properties. I have three or four lip balm recipes and I have been searching this site to get some more. 
sooo embarrassing...I don't have a scale yet! 
for that, my next best advice/tip is to measure and keep good notes. Don't do what I did when I first began. I would get so involved and excited by what I was doing, that I would add drops of this and shakes of that, then when it was all said and done, and I loved it, I would realize that somewhere along the way I had stopped measuring and writing. Then I had to start all over again!
