I want to try a bubble bar recipe that calls for cream of tarter then refers to as tartatic acid. I dont think they are the same. Does anyone know and where can I buy tartatic acid?

You need cream of tartar. You can buy it in most larger grocery stores. Look in the baking section.

Cream of Tartar is actually ground up Tartaric Acid, it's a byproduct of wine making. They are exactly the same thing. I'm a wine instructor and Master Sommelier (wine geek) by trade.

PS- You can by Tartaric Acid in home brewing/wine making stores if you have one in your area. That's where I get my Citric Acid for bath fizzies
