Hi, I don't know if this has happened, but can someone reply please. I made 5 containers of body butter back in Aug. Only one of the 5 has this furry mold or growing in it. It's the last bit and I opened the container today and saw this blackish gray colored hairy stuff growing. It looks like a science project. I have been making these butters for about 3 years and this is a first for me. I use plastic containers that I boil, and I just don't understand this. Here is what i use to make the body butter. Cocoa Yummy 4oz cocoa butter 6oz virgin coconut oil 2 tsp arrow root powder 1 tbsp of essential oil neroli
the Butter Creme Shea 2 Tbsp Shea butter 1 Tbsp coconut oil 2 Tbsp cocoa butter 1 Tbsp Sunflower oil 1 Tblsp of Grapeseed oil 10 drops of cedarwood essential oil 10 drops orange essential oil.
Only the Cocoa Yummy butter got this hairy stuff growing and only in one jar. I usually use it after putting aloe vera gel on my face then I use the body butters. Can anyone give me suggestions of what I can try. I was going to make these as gifts, but now I won't until I know what is occurring in my butters.
Thanks,
flowers
