This post in the MP thread was very educational in many ways for me. viewtopic.php?f=6&t=3920
One, to get a sellers perspective of how much they sell per ounce, and how much to sell to stores.
However,,, has anyone applied this kind of method to Bath salts? And if they have, it the cost of the container/packaging considered into this? And what is the standard packages size(s) and recommended usage amounts?
Sorry to be asking so many questions, but I am trying to come up with a small line of products and I'm so new at this.

I'm curious about the cost effectiveness of making bath salts too. Once you factor in the packaging/labels, shipping costs, etc. I wonder what is a reasonable profit margin to expect? I wish I knew where I could get a formula that would help me calculate out the various costs and arrive at a reasonable selling price. A lot of people I know ask me for this info but I'm not really sure how to answer them. A little calculator where you could just punch in the various amounts would be great to have. For instance, if I use instead of regular ones how much extra should I expect to charge?
