This is probably a stupid question but I'm gonna ask anyway......can I substitute emulsyifing wax for beeswax when making lip balm?

Next week is Teacher Appreciation week and I wanted to make some gift bags, but realized this morning I am out of beeswax. Or can I make lip balm without Beeswax? Thanks!!

No. ewax is to emulsify oils and water in lotions. Beeswax is more suited for lip balms and balms in general, that have no water.

You're welcome. What oils, butters or other waxes do you have? You don't need beeswax to make a balm.
