Can anyone share a recipe for shower gel? I have a base (concentrated)..so I know to add water....and a preservative...just looking for a place to start...something sudzy.. Thank you... :)

Base takes 25-50% water.....but I was just curious about any shower gel recipes that anyone might like to share.. some ppl put different things in their recipes...just wanted to try something different... :)

I can tell you what not to add. :) Don't add any herbs or herbal extracts as those are harder to preserve. It's best to just add fragrance or essential oil and color if need be.

Ok..I don't mess with herbs at all..lol...I just put fo or eo in...maybe I will add some cyclo or silk amino....maybe a LITTLE oil thats nice for the skin...feel like playing around a little...Thanks Soapbuddy.... :)

You're welcome. If you add any oil, you will loose some of the bubbles.

I make mine with lye and oils so it is different but one thing I do is to try and keep mine clear. I have found many things that get added to liquid soaps will cloud them in cooler tempatures. Keep that in mind if you are doing clear ones.

I do know adding oils will cut my sudz...I try not to do that..lol ..but its so hard to hold back... :D
