Teach Soap

Hi! I usually make CP soap, but am getting into bath bombs now. It's so much fun, until they start to flatten out.

I live south of San Fran, so it's usually foggy and damp. My bombs are coming out great at first, but it's all down hill from there. Has anyone had luck with baking bath bombs? I've read you can put them in the oven at approx. 200 F, but for how long? I tried it and they came out crumbly and then they flattened out anyway.

My next try will be to place them in a room with a dehumidifier after getting them out of the mold. Fingers crossed.

I tried the baking thing. It made the bath bonbs hard, but they no longer fizzed, so I gave up on baking them.

Thanks! I tried the dehumidifier tonight with much better results although now they seem to be cracking and a little crumbly around the edges. Sheesh.
