Teach Soap

I was wondering if anyone knew where I could get some colored lids for my jars or colored caps for my bottles? I got a container of coffee butter from BB the other day and it had a yellow lid, which I loved! I would love to find lids in a variety of colors. If anyone knows let me know. (O and on a side note the coffee butter smells amazing!!!!)

It depends what size you need. Is it 70-400 or 89-400 or some other size?

Your going to think i am dumb but I don't really know what those numbers mean . I was just thinking about an 8 oz or so jar with a colored lid. Does that help?

If it's a standard size jar, it will most likely need a 70-400 closure. Have you checked out Midwest Packaging?

Yes I actually just found them online yesterday! They seem to have a lot of colors. So a typical jar is 70-400. What does 89-400 mean?

A standard size for a 16 oz. jar is 89-400. What it means is that this size is larger. It won't fit on an 8 oz. jar.

Doesn't a 70-400 lid fit a jar with 70mm opening? And an 89-400 fit a jar with 89mm opening? I don't know what the 400 is though. Maybe it's how close together the threads are?

Yes, 70-400 lid fits a jar with 70mm opening. The 400 is the thread's size.
