Teach Soap

Tonight I decided to try my hand at making lotion and it worked!
It was so easy and fun. The only thing is that this is just a trial batch and not to be used by anyone other than me...and my daughter, too. The reason is that it is a VERY old fashioned recipe and I want to see how it holds up. Just playing tonight...there are no preservatives in it so it is supsceptible to bacteria growth and such...so it is for personal use until I get some preservatives. (should be getting my BB order any day now!! )
It is a very thick and rich blend. I slathered some on my feet to see how it does on those ugly heels. LOL I tinted it green and scented it with cucumber and sweetgrass. mmmmm it smells great and feels even better!!


Any suggestions on how to fill a bottle with this stuff??? Had to go with a jar since it is so thick!
Anyway I just wanted to let you know what I did tonight.

looks great! Do you have a funnel or if it it's too thick for one, you might want to try the ziplock bag method, clipping an edge and squeezing it into the bottle.
