One last question... why is lavender essential oil bad for dogs?
I did some research on using essential oils for animals. There seem to be lots of people using all types of essential oils (including lavender) on all types of animals (including dogs). From some more skilled and professional sources, I am getting the gist that the quality and correct usage of essential oils is the most important thing when using them on animals. It sounds like an animal could have a bad reaction to a low-quality EO administered incorrectly, but a good reaction to a high-quality EO of the same type, used correctly on the animal.
Does this sound right?
