Bubble Bars

1/3 cup cornstarch
1/3 cream of tartar
1 cup baking soda
1 1/2 cup slsa
1 tbs tapioca starch
1/2 cup glycerin
1 tbs castor oil

colors and fragrance....The first batch turned out ok....coulda been a prettier roll, but I wanted the big ones, so I doubled this recipe.
I'm using gel colorant, Ive tried micas and they sat on the water (with the bombs) I'd also like to say that I'm not great at converting oz's to cups, or whatever lol..embarrassing, anyway, these last ones seem oilier than the first, and it COULD be that when I tried to mix the gel colorant into the dough, (3 separate colors), it wasn't wet enough to disperse, so I eyeballed more glycerin and castor

You can use google to convert oz to cups quite easily, but that's for converting oz by volume to cups by volume. Without looking at the recipe you were working from, I don't know whether they were using weight or volume. Bath product recipes tend to use weight measures, not volume, as it's more accurate.

I would weigh each ingredient for better accuracy. Then you can convert it to grams.

Thank you both so much for the input!!! I SO love this forum...is there a floating bath bomb recipe on here anywhere? I love mine, and everyone who's tested them love them as well....I'm just curious how they do it at...you guessed it lol....LUSH. I love the ballistics of their bombs, but at the same time, I think the sinkers seem to have more of all the good stuff packed in....conundrum...
