The FO's we've used for Rose tend to be not very strong. We've been putting in 2tsp per 5oz bar (cures to roughly 4.25oz). Does the amount of FO need to be increased, by how much? Or is rose typically so light that it is hard to work with?

Thanks again.

You would be better off weighing your rose oil. Where did it come from? What was your recipe and method?

We put in the recommended 1tsp for a light scent but this is 'really light'.

We're doing cold process and bought the rose FO from a local store in the Seattle/Everett area.

Thanks again.

Teaspoons are not accurate. If you bought this in a retail store, it's most likely not a quality fragrance. There are many good vendors online like BrambleBerry that carry quality fragrances.
