Teach Soap

Hello!
I'm fairly new at this and have been experimenting, but I'm a little bummed out that my soaps are coming out as smelly as I would wish. I've been doing some imbeds, so I haven't been fragrancing the clear, but have been fragrancing the imbeds and the 'bottom' of the soap which usually has some color, etc. I find by just fragrancing the bottom and imbeds I'm not getting a rich smell through the plastic wrap I use to seal them. I want to do a craft fair, but am afraid people won't buy if they can't smell the lovely aroma through the plastic. I HAVE been using the 'recommended dosage for strong scent' BB scent calculator. Any suggestions??

Different fragrances have different strengths. Which fragrances are you using, where did they come from and how much are using per lb. of base? Are you weighing everything? Do you have an accurate scale?

I've been using Celestial waters and Hot Apple Pie from BB. CW is very strong, while the apple is less so. I think working with them all day I was getting 'sensory fatigue,' and upon smelling them now they are definitely noticeable. I may also do the open soap so people can take a whiff too. Thank you very much!

Bramble Berry has a fragrance calculator. I use it. and depending on the strength of the FO/EO I adjust it to fit the scent. I work in Ounces and mLs. good luck and happy soaping.
