Teach Soap

I am desperately searching for a source to buy Neroli EO. My source is no longer carrying it and one of my best selling lotions uses this. There are some companies selling it but the prices have soared. Otherwise, does anyone have a suggestion for a substitute? I combine it with Lavender EO. Thank you!

I wonder if all of the drought areas in the world this year are the cause of the price boost? Rose EO has gone up even more as well, to make my Mom a 2lb batch of rose EO soap it would cost me over $100!

I know the voices in my head aren't real, but they sure have some great ideas!

In Ukraine you can buy neroli essential oil for $7 for 10ml.

I don't know how good it is in quality though. But if you really want it - I may try and send it )

You could try the poor person's version of neroli EO, petitgrain. Not the same, I know. I have used it in blends to good effect though.

A big Mahalo to everyone who responded. Not sure what I will do... maybe try to replace Neroli with another eo altogether... It's not feasible to continue to use it at these prices but I certainly will miss it

They say it smells very similar to the pure Neroli EO. They are usually super good with descriptions too!

I have a very sensitive nose. I don't know about the rest of you, but I would be able to tell a difference. Citrus oils also don't do well in soap. They tend to fade.

Neroli itself is of citrus origin though... from the fertilized blossoms of the bitter orange. I've only had neroli FO myself, but it was very much a citrus scent. Guessing this is on of those EOs that don't smell like the FOs with the same name v.v
