Overthinking Ounces per Pound of Soap

My brain is just too tired I guess, I am over thinking this... can someone smack me please?

I want to make a 4 lb batch of soap, I want to use 4 different oils. Do I use 4 oz of EACH oil or 4 oz. TOTAL oils (being 1 oz of each).

4 oz of each seems overkill....

If the useage rate for your oils is 1 oz/lb. Then you'd use a total of 4 oz of oil.

Take a deep breath - hold it - count to 10 and release; repeat... :lol:

up to 4 ounces TOTAL - or up to 1 ounce TOTAL of each FO

If you have a 4 lb. mold, don't forget to add your water to the total.
