Teach Soap

I made 2 batches of soap today and used FO/EO mixes! The first was my avocado and almond milk facial soap. I scented this one with sweet meyer lemon and rosemary; 3 to 1 respectively. The second is a revitalizing soap for my husband with patchouli and peppermint; 4 to 1 respectively. OMG both batches smell so incredibly awesome! The avocado bars are just plain solid pale green, tried to get it an avocado like green, not sure if the avocado in it will make it a little bit brown, or if the colour will stay true. The patchouli batch is and ITP swirl. Its a natural base colour with kelly green and a bronzy colour swirls. I like how it came out, though I'm not 100% happy with the bronze colour. Its a bit too orange. Will see how it looks once its set!

I like Peppermint and Patchouli together also, but an opposite ratio, more peppermint than patch.

The Meyer Lemon & Rosemary sounds great! I think I'll try that (if you don't mind?). I did a lemongrass & rosemary a while ago that I liked, but the Meyer Lemon would make it smell totally different. How was the lemon to work with? No problems?
My husband would prbably like the peppermint patch combo, too, but maybe in equal amounts. He likes 1:1 anise & peppermint.

I know the voices in my head aren't real, but they sure have some great ideas!

By all means try it! Its a wonderful mix. The lemon behaved perfectly, no acceleration. Maybe was a bit yellowing but I can;t be 100% sure, could have been a reaction with the avocado as well. I smelled the batter probably 400 times while making this batch, smells soooo good!
