Hi folks, Im doing a lavender herb soap useing lavender, rosemary and peppermint can anyone tell me what percent of each is a good mix?

Why not use the Q-Tip test. Try 3 parts lavender, 2 parts peppermint and one part rosemary. You can increase or decrease the amounts of each oil to suit your nose.

I like the lavender to be more predominant. I would try 3 parts lavender, 1 part peppermint, 1 part rosemary.

I agree with soapbuddy - I like to have the lavender smell come thru. I really like BB's Lavender & Herb FO and would try to replicate that one.

Thanks for the replys folks, I tried BBs lav herb but I just happen to have the Eos and so I thought to blend them myself.

I buy this same combination pre-mixed. It is 3 parts lavender, 1 part peppermint and 1 part rosemary. I used 1.7 oz in 4 lbs of soap (near the low end of recommended usage) and it is VERY strong, but also very nice!

I used the lavender herb from BB and thought it was gross. Give me straight lavender anytime

The lavender herb CP came out great! Im really liking mixing the oils myself. thanks to you all for the advice
