I'm going to be expanding the number of scents I offer to my customers in my soap, and I'm going to start by offering some seasonal stuff.

I like to have spices and vanilla (among other things) for fall and winter. I have an iced tea with lemon FO, and am trying to hunt down a lemonade FO for summer. In addition, I want some of the more tropical fruit stuffs (coconut, etc.), plus summer florals like rose and lily.

But I'm a tad stumped for spring. I have lily of the valley, hyacinth, and violet. I've also got some light green stuff, like Bamboo, which sold really well for me, even during the fall/winter craft show season. I've got an FO that reminds me of stepping out into a cold, crisp morning after a snowfall that sold well during the holidays, but it's not really a holiday fragrance. I could use different molds (something besides snowmen and snowflakes!), color it differently, and call it Spring Snow.

I live in NE Colorado, and it can still be pretty chilly here in early spring, so snow-themed or type stuff would probably go over well, even though we're all ready for spring to come soon by that time.

Light florals, light green stuff, I dunno, anybody got any other ideas?

Thanks.

Anita

I know you said florals, but just wanted to put a plug in here for lilac... my family and friends love it! I am not a floral lover but this one is even usable for me. I tried the grass scents but as a stand alone fragance do not like them. If I mix them with a floral it is better. How about the standard of lavendar and tree tea? If you are thinking Easter, you could do a chocolate... market as a non-fattening form  Even do it in the shape of an egg... hey I may just have to do that for my dtr!

How about some light fruit smells like peach and cherry (or cherry blossom?) I have a Canteloupe & Lily FO that is very soft and lovely. Or a scent like spring rain with a hint of florals?

I love neroli. A "rain" or "water" fragrance would also go nice, so would fresh linen.

I second the idea of fresh linen or anything rain or water. I'm not into floral or fruity, but I love "clean" smelling soaps. Makes me think of spring cleaning (which is actually one of my favorite parts of the year!)
