About 6 years ago, in a home improvement store, I smelled the most authentic Christmas pine candle ever. It was called "pine boughs" and was sweet fir sap and a ton of dry pinecone scent.. Like you could smell the chopped bark of the christmas tree and maybe a little dirt too. Does anyone know of an FO or Eo that has that dry wood powder scent of a crushed pinecone? Maybe even a different fir EO that is heavy on the dry wood notes?
Fir needle EO is as close as I've come. If only I could bottle the drydown!
