Teach Soap

Some of you have seen my posts here, or possibly other forums, about what I fondly call the Fragrance Oil From Hell, a honeysuckle that is my mom's favorite. Accelerates at light-speed. I've tried all kinds of things to make it play nice. My last attempt was using tallow, which slows trace. Got many more pretty bars before the fit-pitching began from that batch.

Anyway, the other day, I discovered that the company that makes it has closed its doors. Whoo Hoo!!!

(Okay, I did have a brief moment of silence for the stuff. I have enough left to make one smallish bath, so that's earmarked for Mom. She did take it well when I broke the news to her.)

I DON'T HAVE TO DEAL WITH IT ANY MORE!!!!!!!!!!!!

I still make honeysuckle soap as it sells.

Oh, I have another honeysuckle that I think comes from Sweetcakes. Smells more like the real thing to me than mom's. Behaves beautifully, but she preferred the obnoxious one.

I feel your pain! My DH likes patchouli and it makes me gag... altho I did find a patchouli chocolate that was rather nice. LOL
