Teach Soap

This seems to be a relatively new scent, judging by relative lack of mention here, and the description on BB ("This was one of the mystery fragrances in our Spring 2011 S.O.A.P. panel"), but I could be wrong! Anyway, anyone have any reviews of this scent? I'm looking for a good cherry blossom more along the lines of, say, B&BW's "Cherry Blossom" and NOT their "Japanese Cherry Blossom" -- something a little sweeter than not, I suppose!

CP newbie who's turning into a soaping addict!

I don't know how B&BW smells like, have not been buying any toiletry from those big commercial companies since I started making my own!:-P But I really like BB's Cherry Blossom. Though I don't think it's a sweet scent. It's oriental in my opinion, the "woody" undertone makes it, sensual. I have not soap CP with this FO yet. But I can't stop using it in my cream and hair conditioner! Makes my hair smell so good!

This lighter fragrance is a fruity floral delight for the senses; with notes of sweet pomegranate seeds, tart juicy currant mingling beautifully with pink cherry blossom and delicate white magnolia, this is a floral that will quietly steal your heart and have you bursting into song for no reason. This was one of the mystery fragrances in our Spring 2011 S.O.A.P. panel and it was a big hit with it's fresh and clean scent. Does not discolor or accelerate trace in Cold Process soap.

Flashpoint : + 200°F

So it sounds like it does just fine in CP soaps. =)

In my opinion this is a very sweet smelling cherry blossom. It is very popular with girls and teens at my farmer's market.

Tropical Punch – Bring on the Kool-Aid and summer! This fragrance smells like raspberry tea, strawberries, tangerines with a touch of sour candy thrown in for good measure. It’s every parent’s white-couch nightmare and every child’s pink mustache dream. This fragrance discolors to a gold color in CP soap.

Tropical Fruit Smoothie – This tropical fragrance smells of melons, pineapple, acai berry, ripe nectarine, dripping guava, baobab fruit, pomegranates with herbs, grapefruit, cassis and tropical water top notes. It’s a mix of of all the best fruits of the tropics without any of the calories. It does go a light yellow in CP soap and is a bit light in CP but still deliciously tart, sweet and fruity all at the same time.

Southern Peach – This isn’t your traditional peach; it’s softer, more rounded with some white floral notes and supporting softer tropical notes (think guava, mango and ripe papaya) thrown in to make an complex, sweet peachy dessert scent. It goes a yellow in CP soap (but you can easily make this work with your design)

How well does the Peach stick in CP? All the Peach FO's I've tried (except for one) all faded in CP.

I know the voices in my head aren't real, but they sure have some great ideas!

One tester said the fragrances softens a little in CP but smells great. Another said it slightly faded in CP. All the other testers said the results are great though. No acceleration and minimal orange discoloration. Everyone seemed to like it.

There should be more info when the results go up. Yes, she will let you know which numbers were which fragrances.

She said she would look in the notes to see more info on how much PPO was used. I person used 3% and one person used .8 PPO and she used .7 in her tests.

Ooooo. I've been looking for a new peach, the one I have is too much like jolly rancher candy. I'll have to wait for this before my next BB order

I got two samples of this back in February, and I LOOOOOOOVVVEEEE this scent! I just soaped them, and was worried that my soap would rice or seize on me, so the fragrance was the very last thing I stirred in. I didn't notice any superfast acceleration, but by the time I finished pouring it into the mold, it was thickening up. The kitchen smells SOOO FRICKIN' GOOD right now!!!!

I've GOT to buy more of this!
