I'm getting ready to make the Oatmeal Stout CP featured on Soap Queen when my BB order arrives. I ran it through the SoapCalc and most measures were very close except the FO amount. I opted for .5 oz. per pound. BB's recipe calls for double the amount showing up on the calculator. I love the bar I got in the Soap Swap and hope to duplicate the fragrance, so just wanted to check on the amount. Thanks. I'm looking forward to my first beer soap.

We usually say anywhere from .7 to 1oz per pound.

However, fragrance is a totally personal preference and a lot of fragrances are stronger or softer than others. =)

Thanks, Bramble Momma. I'll likely go up some from my usual 1/2 oz pp.

I think the Oatmeal Stout would make a great cookie fragrance, with ground up oatmeal added.
