Hi does anyone know what perfumers blend is? my husband brought me home a bunch of stuff (crap) this lady was selling on craigs list. I was happy at first because there were a bunch of soap making oils but turns out they were all rancid. :cry:

There were 2 bottles of this perfumers blend and it doesn't say anything on the bottle about where it came from or what it is.

Depending where it actually came from, perfumer's blend could be SD40B Alcohol, isopropyl myristate and isopropyl alcohol. Isopropyl myristate in this case is a fixative to make the perfume last longer. This blend does not take additional water well, so it would have to be left out.

It could be a stabilizer, but if it has scent, it could also be a proprietary blend that is meant to be used as as a perfume or it could be a perfume quality fragrance. I have see that type of label in all three instances before, so try to sniff it out
