They are essential oils. Are they stronger than fragrance oils?

I choose the samples from Rainbow Meadow. I'm sure there is nothing wrong with the company. I picked: Thyme, Lavender, Lemon, Tea Tree, Coriander, Bulgarian Lavender, Peppermint, and Fir.

Someone mentioned growing to like a scent. I received Bread from Bb. I didn't care for it at all. I made one bar with bread and vanilla, and I have become rather addicted to it. It is rather nice in its own weird way.

I choose Fir as a way to prepare for Christmas. That will definitely need to be blended with something else. Yuck.

Hi there, I wanted to say that from about 10 sniffys I was sent, I really only liked about 3 or 4 of them. Any of the Christmas ones to me smelt like toilets (good one Jo) and some were just not what I was expecting.

To me Tea Tree smells like summer and mozzie bites and my little ones with head lice (cooties to Americans??) and mixed with Lavender I don't mind it but associate it with those things you know?

I don't have a Lush store near me but I feel that's a good thing really. Considering the money a soap addict can spend... Jo...
Anyway, I was going to say that the sand layer sounds a little... abrasive?

Back on topic, I haven't tried mixing up FO's what if they are complex mixes already, or do you just mix single scents ie. orange with say patouli? Sorry to highjack a bit. :oops:

Wow! So I am not alone. :lol:

There are more of you than just me who have bottled oils that will probably not be used. Since I don't sell anything, I am only interested in my immediate family and me! I'm so frugal, it bothers me to keep ordering in search of the "magic" scent.

The next thing I plan to do is visit B&B and "sniff" around. Some companies show oils comparable to B&B. That may help.
