Does anyone know how to refreshing 5 month old bars?

If it's CP, you could rebatch and add more scent, but the bars will never be as smooth again. If it's MP, just remelt and add a small amount of fragrance.

Hi soap buddy,
I have both hp and cp , I only have about 1 tsp. of this scent and when I tried to order more of this scent (rich citrus cream) they discontinued it. ! Bummer. So I was thinking will it maybe work to add whats left to a cotton ball and put it all in a baggie to get the smell back?

Adding the scent to a cotton ball then putting the soaps next to it is only very temporary. After a couple of washings with this soap, the scent will be gone. How about rebatching and adding a complementary scent that would go with what you already have?

Ok, I will try that and pray it turns out and she likes it.
Also what is a great scent to use for a complextion bar. one thats fresh smelling and last good? I need to get a order in today and also order oils.

how about mellon or green tea?

For a complection bar, I would go with the least amount of any scent as the facial area is more sensitive. If the soap already has a fragrance, even though it's light, I would leave it alone. You don't want to irritate the face.

I will just leave it alone then. I am really scared to rebatch because it would probably be to dry and I,am scared to add another Fo. I better just leave it alone and hope shes ok with lack of scent.

So if you do MP, could you put soap back in microwave to "refresh" or no? I have never done this, but I wonder now that you say this, if it would be ok since it has the Fo in it, or to refresh, you'd need to double boil it?
