Haven't soaped with it yet, but LOVE the scent OOB. Can't wait to soap with it. Also got Marrakesh and Spiced Mahogany. Soaped with both of those. I like the Spiced Mahogany the best. So does DH, my back-up sniffer. I think Marrakesh could be more of a unisex scent. It's a bit sweet in my soap. I may take Cubbles suggestion and mix them next time. He said in another post that Marrakesh and Spiced Mahogany were phenominal together.

You will find that BrambleBerry's fragrance oils are very good quality and work great in soap. I haven't soaped Cedar and Saffron yet.

I have soaped Cedar & Saffron for 2 yrs now--- keep it in my line up year round. It soaps great for me--cp, all goatsmilk, discolors to warm brown, holds the scent forever! Some people think it smells masculine but many just love the scent. Not sweet, just a great spicey cedar/sandalwood/patch blend.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the Cedar & Saffron!!! It is one of my all-time favorite scents.

I just made a gorgeous soap to enter in the local county fair with Marrakesh as its fragrance. Hope is wins with the judges!

I don't care for the Spiced Mahogany, it reminds me too much of "Juicy Fruit" gum.

This is my first post here, I sure like what I am reading and learning!!!

Ditto everyone on KNINE and the others on Cedar and Saffron. Strong too, lasts for ever, very popular with both sexes. I find this particular one unique, never smelled anything else like it :)

When the description says a fragrance, such as Cedar and Saffron, discolors in Cold Process Soap, would that mean it would also discolor MP?

Bummer! So if I just add it to a dark color, and leave the bits I want clear, will it affect the unscented area's as well?

I will avoid vanilla for that reason. I'd thought that maybe I could put a color "barrier" between the scented and clear parts to slow or stop the process. Is it fragrance only that will eventually cloud the clear, or just the nature of the glycerin? I have some older soaps that are cloudy, but they were also scented.

I had ordered the Cedar and Saffron, and do look forward to using it... somehow. It sounds like a nice, fall/winter scent.

I am thrilled to bits! My BB order just arrived, and these fragrances are HEAVENLY!!! My husband, who is a nut about expensive colognes, wanted to take my Cedar and Saffron for himself! It is really nice. It's obvious that all the fragrances I got (5) are the highest quality. THANK YOU BB!

I still haven't soaped with Cedar and Saffron even though I have it and love it OOB. Aghhh, too busy lately. I agree about the quality of BB's fo's though. Initially I was all over the map with vendors and learned a few costly lessons. (Like... I'll never buy from a candle supplier turned soapmaking supplier again and not all FO's by the same name are equal in scent, strength or quality.) Another plus for me is how well BB packs their fo's. I even use their sealed air instapacks that they pack the bottles in for insulating the sides of my molds so it's great to get those. :)

I also like BB's monthly web specials. I bought Marrakesh fo and some liquid green oxide at 20% off. http://www.brambleberry.com/Web-Specials-C149.aspx
