Teach Soap

Hello All,

I am new to the forum and have been soaping about 6 months. I have making the soap down, but not getting my scents to stick. I have created several of my own recipes using the lye calulator and putting in .7oz of fragrance per pound of soap. I soap between 90-110. I have put the fragrance in at trace, i have also tried putting the fragrance in after i have colored my soap it didnt make a diffrence. Im not sure if im not using enough, if it is the scents im using (Cucumber melon FO, coconut lime FO, orange & clove EO). Any idea or thoughts would be appriecated. Thanks

PS I purchased my scents from Sweet Cakes Brambleberry and Natures Garden if that helps.

The clove EO is particularly surprising. I've found it to be a good sticker. I haven't use the other FOs you speak of - do the reviews comment on them sticking?

I didnt see anything about them not being good in CP Soap when I purchased them. I read the write ups.

Each oil can be different. The cucumber melon fo and orange eo are okay to use up to .8 oz Per pound while the clove should stay below .48oz per pound, as others said it can be irritating.
