Teach Soap

I'm wondering what everyone would give me an opinion on good x-mas fragrance. I made cupcakes using x/mas wreath from natures garden and I'm not really in love with the scent. I also have Country Christmas that I will try but I'm looking for a more piney scent. Any suggestions?

Fir needle essential oil is AMAZING, it is the best christmas scent ever, just like a christmas tree!

I was just thinking about getting my Christmas soaps lined up and started! So some of my selections are (in no particular order):
1. Hot cocoa - BB This one colors itself and I have a tall skinny mold that has a slight widening at the top.
2. Peppermint. I always do one of these! I also have BB sleigh ride but I think it is too much like the peppermint (which I prefer).
3. Wassil. I happen to like this one because of the spice in it... but it is not always the most chosen bar within the family.
4. Cinnamon. I use a FO so I do not have to worry about the irritation of the cinnamon EO.
5. Wasabi. Not really Christmas but my family loves this one.
6. Woodland elves. One of the best. I will sometimes add a touch of vanilla and tree to it. This one is as close to pine as I do.
7. Roasted chestnuts. I do this one to use up some FO I bought a lot of! I have also mixed this with brown sugar and fig which helps.

So the winners this year for me are: # 1, 2, 6 and 7. Hope this gives you some ideas.

I made Santa's Spruce and Woodland Elves and like both of them a lot. Both have some pine but not that pinesol scent that I don't care for.

Thanks everyone! I think I have some peppermint here and add it to the Country Xmas and see what I come up with. camphor EO is interesting. I think I want to experiment with what I have and see what I come up with.

My absolute hands down favorite Christmas/holiday fragrance is Home for the Holidays from Mad Oils. I sold out of 5# of soap in an hour at my market and had a regular customer ask me to make her a 5# batch to give as gifts.

I know the voices in my head aren't real, but they sure have some great ideas!

NG's Christmas Cabin was my most popular this year along with peppermint (named it Peppermint Stick). They sold out quickly! Mistletoe & Ivy did well too and had more pine to it but was not as popular as Christmas Cabin.
