All I can say is it stinks. does this mean each month you get the same scent?

I didn't ask for one in the last order . I didn't know we could...

Is it always a fragrance oil?

It will be the fragrance oil of the month, which is listed on the main web page, as long as your order is something they can add a fragrance sample to. If it is something that won't work with a fragrance sample they will send something else as a sample. I got lavender buds a couple of times when I ordered larger / heavier items (like the multibar cutter).

They are super nice about sending the sample you request if you want a different one. I've requested something twice because there were scents I thought sounded fab but I wanted to try before buying a bigger bottle.

Probably, assuming the sample is for something that doesn't cost significantly more than a fragrance sample would.

They always (almost always, I guess, sometimes it takes a couple days at the beginning of the month for them to update it) have the fragrance of the month right on the front page, so it's pretty easy to check before you order. Although I only remember to actually check 10% of the time, lol.

I didn't know this. thanks for telling me. I don't even know if I ever go to the front page.
