Teach Soap

I made a tester batch of cp with this oil last night.
all veg recipe, oils at 106, lye at 124.
1 oz PPO of Key Lime Essential Oil
Bit of neon green colouring mixed in glycerin.

Mixed smoothly, only a slight bit of acceleration. Left downstairs in my very cold basement with a lid on. No insulation.
Checked it one hour in...sides and top of mould still feel cool, no heat coming off the top that I can feel.

This morning: the soap did a partial gel, even in a very cold room, with relatively cool oils to start (for me).
Which means - in a larger batch, with a bit of insulation, it should completely gel on its own just fine.

Weird, tho - I went ahead and cut it, and the parts that gelled smell very different than the ungelled. The ungelled piece on one end smells divine - exactly like key lime. The gelled soap from the middle smells like a tarnished spoon.

Will update as/if it changes.
