First time with Lavender 40/42 in CP

I am still new to soaping with just four batches. I want to try the Lavender 40/42 in a cold process batch. It will be either a 2 or 4 lb batch. How does this react in CP and should I go with a .5oz ppo or a .7oz ppo? Or something different?

I use it and go 0.7 to 0.8 oz. per lb. of soap.

I've never had a problem with lavender eo accelerating. It ashes on me though, no matter what I do to prevent it.

I used soapbuddy's beeswax tip and that really cut down the ashing from lavender.

Oops! forgot to mention that the tip is to use 1% beeswax in your recipe.

Would Lavender and vanilla work together? I don't have patchouli or mint in my inventory yet.
