I use it and it's a really good gardenia. It does accelerate though it doesn't discolor. Mainly I use it blended with another fo that accelerates a bit so I'm not sure which causes the ricing. Don't plan on anything elaborate and you'll be fine. Did I mention soap cool and use a slow base? 
It's one of my faves!
