I was just wondering how you can get your glass droppers dry and clean without the 'hangover smell' of the last oils used in it? Or is there a way, is that why some use the plastic ones?

I went to cheap disposables. I could never get the glass ones completely clean. Some thick essential oils like Patch are extremely difficult to get off and clean.

I thought that may have being the case, damn. I have about 10 of them and I can't get the smell out (patchouli in particular) and im worried it may contaminate the other oils if I continue to use them...hmmm what to do, what to do?

I don't know if it would work but I would try some vinegar and lemon juice. Both are great neutralizers.

Just to avoid cross over of scent, I would label a dropper for a specific scent and use it only for that one. Then I would switch to disposable for all future needs. I have banded a dropper to a specific bottle of scent so they stay together.

I use the disposable pipettes as well -- I've actually read that EOs (maybe some, not all, but who knows...) can eat away at the rubber bulbs of the droppers, so even if you designate one solely for use with one EO, it may not last.

mmmm good ideas there, thank you! I think I may need to invest in some disposable pipettes in the long run but for now will try a few of the above ideas. Cheers
