Post subject: oil based vs water based fo

so im just beginning to make some lotions and creams. Can i used my fo from my cp soap making for them? I have been reading that water based fo are for lotions, but since there is an oil portion and a glycerin portion to lotion, if the oil based fo is added to the oils is it ok???

Any skin safe FO may be used for lotion. More & more water based fragrances are being used for perfumes. Add your oil based FO to your oils after they have cooled off some. Add your water based FO after the water has cooled off.
