I've been experimenting with liquid soap as a shampoo. The last batch that I made yeilded about 1/2 gallon of firm goo. I found out that if I only fill the shampoo bottle half full of goo and the other half water, it cleans hair GREAT

Anyway, I am looking for some scent suggestions for my next batch using EOs that I keep on hand. This last one was "Barely Visible Lavender Mint" because the lavender was barely visible. So, here's a list of my EOs and lets see how many combinations we can get because I stink at this!

lavender
peppermint
patchouli
clary sage
rosemary
ginger
sweet orange
lemon
cedar
tea tree

Hi, La Oberhasli! Thought I would try to help you out eventhough I'm not so good at fragrance blends either. :oops:

Have you tried these typical blends:
rosemary - mint,
lavender - rosemary,
orange - ginger,
orange - lemon, and
ginger - lemon?
Although I would use the citrus EOs sparingly, as they might cause lightening of your hair color if you use them in your shampoo.
And if you have vanilla FO, I would also try:
lavender - vanilla,
vanilla - mint,
patchouli - sandalwood(FO?) and vanilla (I've seen this blend mostly in soap though)
orange - vanilla, or
vanilla - lemon.

Try the blend suggestions at Rainbow Meadows -

Things I like -

lemon/ginger/cedar
peppermint/orange/lemon/rosemary
clary sage/rosemary/patch

Lavender/orange is a really nice blend, too.
